Mena Alexandra suvari born February 13, 1979 in America, is an actor as well as a fashion designer and model. She started her modeling career in 1990. She soon shifted into acting, after appearances in television shows like Boy Meets World or High Incident. The actress made her debut in film in the 1997 dramatic film Nowhere. After her performance on the screen in American Beauty (for which she won the BAFTA Award) and American Pie which brought her much attention, she completed her move into more prominent parts. In 2000, she starred with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. Then, she played the leading part for the role of Sugar & Spice (2000). Spun the independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thriller were both prominent in her work. In addition, she was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under in 2004 she was nominated as an Outstanding Cast in the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari was featured in several films like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh or the film adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Suvari is a model on behalf of Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's been in a variety of blogs and magazines, including Vogue. She's been an activist and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. In addition, she's involved in charitable organizations fighting breast cancer and End Violence Against Women. She has modelled for many prominent brands, including Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada and the Olympics. Missy's filmography includes Backcountry Something Red as well as Wide Awake.
